He explained and translated both sides whenever needed and always with divine patience. My divorce has been amicable, but even in the best case scenario you will need someone like Eric to help smooth things out when they get too overwhelming or when emotions run high. You think you won’t need a Mediator until you actually sit at the table across from your soon to be ex-spouse and realize that all your life is being discussed in line items. Amelia A334 days agoEric was a Godsend for us. We knew what we wanted to do in theory and his PeacefulSplit program was efficient and worked perfectly to make it a reality.. On top of that he is a great mediator and really kept us on track and helped us work through difficulties that arose in our negotiations. We reached a basic agreement in one 3 hour session with Eric on a Saturday morning and he prepared drafts of the documents for us to review and edit as we saw fit. We were able to complete the entire process in about 3 weeks. We probably saved a couple of hundred thousand dollars in legal fees and are still friends thanks to PeacefulSplit.Posted on Google

He has a sample set of docs that need to be filled out for divorce filing and that shows u how to fill out the other docs. He was always available for questions. He sends a link with your docs so you can refer back which was EXTREMELY helpful. And then he sends a link that tells you how to fill things out and answers to questions etc. If you want to have an easier experience with low cost divorce...he is the way to go. Mark Linn737 days agoMy ex-wife & I utilized Eric’s PeacefulSplit mediation in Spring 2023. Prior to meeting with Eric, she & I had almost all of our preferences addressed & our differences resolved. Eric is a mediator not an arbitrator. He assists you in putting your wants & needs into a legal document in a format acceptable to a court in your jurisdiction. He lets you know of potential pitfalls & best practices. He does not advocate for either party nor does he mediate if you have major points of contention. He will not mediate your divorce if you are represented by counsel. Eric’s service is exactly as advertised. His documents are as specific as your instructions guide him. He will advise when your instructions are too broad or ambiguous. He will not resolve your differences as much as facilitate the conversation. He was exactly what we wanted & needed for our case. His service is as good as his clients. If you need to litigate, this is not the service for you. It was perfect for us. We were able to mediate a settlement in one consultation & meeting via Zoom. We settled a divorce involving multiple assets, multiple liabilities, & four minor children for less than $3000 inclusive of Eric’s fees. The court accepted our MSA, our PP, our child support schedule, & finalized our divorce in less than 10 weeks from filing without any attorneys or a final hearing. If you are truly collaborative, have next to zero conflicts, & are reasonable with one another, PeacefulSplit is perfect for you.
